I run Advanced's digressive setup. I'm still a little off on initial throttle up in the center of the corner but at exit it will hook up and never seems to quit pulling all the way down the...

The NeSmith series I would expect to be all GM as NeSmith is a GM dealer. Now some of the other crate series should look at other brand crate motors I think. But the crate thing in general, in my...

I believe he will make it work. He is running crates weekly, not sure of other classes. And he leased the track at Atwood for one year, never owe'd it. He has plans on running some late model shows....

Using a longer RF lower should tighten it more on entry, same as the softer RF spring. With that model car I would think more LR bite, stiffer LR spring, softer LF spring, less rebound on 5th coil,...

34 1/2 and 36 are the measurements on my Pierce torque arm.

I can get you a measurement tonight.

I may be mistaken but I thought CJ, Moyer and Larry Shaw were brother in laws??

Sounds like the same issue I have had with the car I have been running last few years. Seems good when there's traction, rotates and drives off??? Couple of things to think about. What is your...

Crate flywheel or for open motor?

No, Kinser makes a 14 inch filter for traditional 4 barrel carbs. I have been running one for a couple of years. I haven't had any issues. I clean it every race and have never found dirt in the carb....
-
Sorry if I'm high jacking the thread. But....... anyone have any dyno info or experience on the Kinser air filters?

I know a guy that put one on his car about mid season last year, he likes it. Haven't done a before and after stop watch, but it didn't seem to slow him down any.

Here is an option. I have always been pleased with the products I have bought from them. Seem like good people to deal with.

Brian,
Just sent you an email.

I sent you a PM, not sure it went through.

One thing to keep in mind on the different springs. There are different designs on birdcages and shock mounts and so on. My experience, older designs in birdcages don't favor soft spring/ heavy...

Mothers mag and aluminum polish with above ball or if you wait to long like I do. Use a buffer like you would buff a car with.
-
Probably better terms to describe it, but it eliminates the air coming around the nose and creating a vacuum effect in the left front wheel well area.

Are you driving the car in straight versus throwing it in the corner? If so, raising the right lower bar and putting the LRF shock back on will help you turn the car on entry and through the middle...
