My guess is you have a valve issue with #2 cyl. and it is affecting #1, pull v/c and check.

I am going to answer my own post just so others will know. Done some checking and here is what I found. A 8:1 box moves the drag link 4" per turn (same as a LM with a 4" rack) but still slower...

I been around long enough I should know this but I don't. What box ratio and/or quickner do I use to make the steering on a modified as quick as a late model with a 3.75 - 4" rack?

Am I missing something here, 7 psi at WOT is not enough presure for alcohol.

Thats a hard one to answer. If this was one of my cars and lets say we are talking about a 3/8 track I would change the gear about 2-3 points higher. I would guess 500-700 rpm if it was a stock 4412

Never let me down. This is on a 3300 lb car with 60 series tires. RF 25, RR 23, LR 21, LF 20

This is what happens when you write the check for your new shocks. You have to lay down because of shock. (Lay down shock)

Thanks for the input maybe I need to look at this a little harder before I try it.
-
How about a little input on this. I am going to add another pedal and master cylinder and only hook it to the left rear caliper so I can have more control over this wheel. Left will be on a floater...

I have ran them on and off for years. Now if I was building both all aluminum brand new I would go with the sbc. The reason I always used them was cost, I could put 3k in a big block and keep up with...

This has never let me down 20+ yrs. Fire up the engine, bring it up to 2k rpm and pour 1/2 a quart of ATF through the carb in about 5 seconds. Let off the throttle and she will quit, this lubes the...

Yes I understand completley. It has the newer style 6 hole double slot brackets. This was one of Brian Shirley's old cars.
-
Yes exactly, this is why I need the info. For an extreme example if my mounts are installed 4" too high then I would have to lower my ride height by 4" to be able to leave the bar in the setup hole...
-
Ok I will follow up with pics or details. But I still need to know what it is on an actual rocket sitting at ride height so I can compare my mount height to an actual rocket. If rocket is LRL +10 LRU...

I have a 07 Rayburn that someone put Rocket 4 bar brackets on. I have no way of knowing if they installed them at the correct height. So what I need to know is with the bars in the set up holes what...
-
Make sure you are using the correct seal, they make them with the lip facing in and out depending on which way your seal installs.
-
Ok thanks, I was needing an idea on what most builders used. I have access to cnc equipment and like making what I can to save money. So I will go with 10-14" range in height and 0-4" from center...
