When the 4 bolt caps cracked the crank would walk slightly and the seals would start to leak....pull the oil pan and you couldnt tell anything was wrong so put new seals in and it would happen again...

With the splayed caps under torque can pull the cap out of true letting the seal leak also creates flex in the cap allowing it crack....didnt believe it till i saw some data from testing on it....

JMHO I am not a big fan of the splayed caps I prefer the straight 4 bolt blocks....my .02

Id check everyweld along both frame rails around the 4 points of the cage the rear suspension brackets and check the x brace. fix any bad welds and make sure the rear brackets are square in the car...

The spring dont know what brand was on the box but it does know what it measures on the press....ive had good luck with both hypercoils and afco....but i paint them so i can tell what im running...

personally i think the 430 is a pretty tough combo its 15 more cubic inches which really doesnt mean anything in a world of trumped up hp/torque numbers but I would make sure to go with a reputable...
