Howe bj are around $80 and the stud only is $30.IF Pierce is in that price range It would be easier to get on the phone.I use the same housing and change studs.Been awhile since I bought one, but a...

Is it screw in or press in.With howe bj you can put Chrysler studs in chevy housing.I have a bunch of howe stuff, measure your stud and post it
-
The 5th arm was easier to keep hooked up, wider sweet spot.

White dot tire are not just a legend ,I have used them, lol.I couldn't find a white dot on them any where. We were racing under a 1600 compound rule.As there are several different 1600 constructions,I...

I updated my 08 myself.Getting the rack and bump steer figured out was the hardest part.

A lot of brodix intakes won't take a thermostat.
-
I was at that race Bowers won also.It was a good one.

We ran a 13.5 c/r BBC on the dyno with e85 and 110.It made 650 hp with both. The more I think about it the margin of error would be so small,If it was possible I don't think any hp gains seen on the...
-
Not a crate guy but, it could be possible.I have seen motors lose hp with more octane. It is one of those things that you have to test as every combo is different. If I were using their carb I would...

Raise the j bar 1'' to 2'' on both sides.
Drop front springs 25lbs both sides.
Add rear steer at the r/r

1.Motor
2.tires and wheels
3.Shocks
4.Fuel (car and Rig)
5.General maintenance
6.Body
You could make rules to reduce the cost of each one ,but why.''Run what you brung and hope you brung...

Motors are the biggest expense

I know everybody uses a r/f shut off, but I always have trouble with them. When you hit the brakes and have 600psi of line pressure the shut off will bleed a little bye. After doing this for several...

I used an AR a couple years ago.I don't think they are as thick as a md3 ,The lower valance on the md3 that extends 6" or so up the nose, holds up better.

I've been happy with Performance trends products

R/F 5R/3C L/F 7R/3C both digressive ,R/R 208/72 linear, l/r COB piston ,250lbs of gas pressure, starting at 600lbs @ 2'' compression. That would be the baseline I would start with.
-
Is both r/s tires building the same air pressure?
-
Rod length plays a bigger role on engines that are restricted. I know drag racers that believe all the rod does is hook the piston to the crank.I always go with a longer rod because I want a lite...
-
Some where between a 5r/3c and a 7r/4c in a digressive valve is were I would start, but I agree with BG
-
The advantages would be- if you had body rules, the high travel of the right front would put the body in a better aero advantage.
Once front is locked down it doesn't lose any grip from scrub or...

Had a IMCA mod with long trailing arms like truck arms.If you had a real limited motor or raced on a big track it might work.I wouldn't waste my time today.
-
Mine is at 0 at idle and 4lbs at wot. When we were on the dyno I jet the carb at 4lbs.Lower pressure is better as long as you don't lean it out.
-
I've seen motors that would retard at rpm.The timing was set high at idle and fall back at rpm, never cause problems.A cam button and realignment of the timing gears helped it.
-
Mine has a .200 and I am at 4psi, which is what I want.I would run what ever gave me the pressure I wanted and not worry about it.
-
I've tried it ,Thought it was a big waste of time after doing it.You would want to use a dry film lubricant as any grease will pack with dirt.
