It will make changing the shock for different track conditions more difficult. Might also loosen up corner entry? Not sure what you are trying to do? I think I'd want spring and shock behind LR. Or...
-
Leave it on the z-link if you are new to mods and it is set up to be that way. Learn how to drive the car first before you do any experimenting with a 4 bar. That way you'll know if the 4-bar is any...

Sounds like you need new power valves. Make sure the squirters arent stuck when you first fire at each race.
-
LM 14 is right. Difference between the driveshaft angle and the rearend angle gives a total angle of pinion degrees. Measured at ride height.
-
I have a racepump with spare gaskets and regulator for alcohol almost new. Only used a handful of times. I'd like to sell it if anyone is interested.

You're going to be moving an awful lot of weight to the R.R. and taking a lot of rear and left side % out. Need more info. What is the L.S. and rear % now? What type of chassis is it and what do they...

Looks like it used to have a swing arm type suspension which would have had coil over eliminators in front of the rear end hooked to the swing arm and the shocks mounted behind the rear on clamp...

I tried it a few years ago on a spring bucket car and ended up going back to the original set up. I like to try new things and back then, no one else was useing one. You have to be really good at...

If you move the lower bar down on the LR you should probably raise the upper LR also. Putting in more LR spring rate might loosen the car on entry more, but should give a little more LR drive off....
-
Just move your short bar from the 3rd hole down on the pinion to the 2nd hole down. Run stiffer shocks and don't run any split valve shocks.
-
How much are you asking for it, and where are you located?
-
You are correct. The upper control arm could and usually does put a ding in the shock tube on the RF when you bottom out real hard. I run my front shocks with the shaft on top and stopped denting my...

I have a set of the new style Pierce clamp un-clamp bird cages I'd like to sell.
-
No. If it's not in line, it has to be fixed if you want it to work properly. The swivelers would probably let the spring bow too much where the spring would bind on the frame somewhere causing all...
-
What have they done on the front end geometry? I have the older style set up. I was going to switch to the spring behind deal but was kind of talked out of it.
-
What type of chassis? Is the spring angle different than the angle of the jack screws when looking from the front and side? Take the spring out and support the lower up to ride height with a floor...
-
Take $50 for the BP0? What valving are the other 2? Are they front or rear?
-
What brand are the rims and what condition?
-
Did you bench bleed the master cylinders before you put them on to get all the air out? Also, why are you running 7/8 masters?
-
I've seen a lot of fast guys with lead bolted on the L.F. frame tubing. I see a lot of weight bolted to the R.F. of that Spaulding dudes car from the Dirt Knights show. I've never seen weight bolted...

Won't that also restrict the amount of fuel to the carb. at W.O.T.?
-
Take $75 for the driveshaft w/out yoke?
-
What shocks and springs are on it now? Sounds like you have to take the bird cages off and get some clamp on trailing arm mounts in order to run a 3 link. A Shaw car has the eliminator mounted on the...
-
Shortening the arms will slow down the steering a little, correct? Won't shortening the arms also cause the ackerman to actually create more toe in when counter steered to the right? Maybe I'm wrong....
-
I have a Pierce with nova lowers and I run stock inner tie rod ends with the bend in them. I usually bend them a little more for extra clearance. It also helps the RS tube from rubbing on the bottom...
