E85 is legal as of this year.

What fuel are you running in your 602? I have been using 110 race gas. Is it really any better than pump gas for these motors. I know pump is recommended from factory.

What is the difference in the standard Mastersbilt Smackdown and S7 spindles. Are there markings or a way to measure and find out what I have?

1-2 years old. Marshall, TX. My dad raced there around 1964-1966

It looks to be added but might not be. The welds don't look the same but they did a very good job. So moving inward will soften spring and add drive? I'm on non adjustable shocks. If I have the car...

I have a 08 Mastersbilt that has had a shock mount added to the chassis on the RR which will lean the shock more in toward center of car. What's the thoughts on moving it in? What would be more...

I saw one made from a small winch. They just used the motor and rigged up a coupler. Mounted a battery on the stand and just used 12v.

08 mastersbilt. What is the height of the rear deck support. I know rules may have a lot to do with it. But if making a new rear deck support how long would you make the tube to the bumper. I’m not...

I don’t know why I have to put 10 characters in the post.

I don’t see many if any aluminum drive shafts in my area. What are thoughts on these. I’m needing one and found a used one from a reputable source. I’ve only used steel in the past.

I have one of the wissota cars I'm getting together. Its a 08 I'm told, round tube 01370W. The engine is set back more. My son has a 08 square tube and I have to use a shorter drive shaft than his...

What are differences in the Wissota and Std. smackdown chassis? I have found the engine is set back different and the rear end doesn't set the same left to right. I have 17" instead of 15 3/4 from...

Is there any other differences on the wissota cars. I was just checking the rear end side to side and it doesn't measure to the book spec.

That is it. It does have a W. I wondered about that. Thanks

We have 2 08 Mastersbilt cars, one square tube, one round tube. Standard slip yoke Bert trans in both. The square tube is using a 38" drive shaft but a 38 is too long for the round tube. It likes...

Oh no, I'm not. I found a crack in it around the starter cup any way. I'll keep my steel bell in for now. Thanks
-
I think that is the one I have. The hole is about 5 1/8". But I don't have an adapter.
-
Will a stock GM aluminum bell housing be ok for a crate car. I think it would be as good as the bert or brinn. Most of those have been cracked and repaired.

Thanks for the tips and suggestions. I will give it a go, play around with it some and see what happens. I'm getting out of a 04 GRT and into the 08 Mastersbilt. Should I expect a big difference in...

I won't have to worry about that where I'm at. I could probably run one and get away with it. Once I find the position of the floater that works best, it will stay at that position when making bar...

I’m not sure what is on it but the left look good. The right were wore out.

Thanks. I think I will leave it hooked up and try it. I don't know why I thought I was loosing one of the adjustment holes on the frame.

This car has the large hole brackets and I wasn't sure if I would like not having one hole for bar adjustment. I may leave everything set up so I can unlock it and try it. It is a bearing type...
