Underdog, I'm also running TeamSE modifieds. Always ran standard 600 rf 200 lr til 2018. Finally gave in and went to a 20" 100 on the left rear heavily preloaded, on smoother tracks I'm running a 400...

I just use bert blue. Expensive but I'd rather run their stuff.

I've got a ton of racing experience, just not in a late model. I'm a mod guy. I was just reading an Integra shock guide and it talks like you run something along the lines of a 5/3 or 6/3 behind the...

This 2010 Rayburn combo car I bought came with new Integra double adjustable non canister shocks. One shock per corner, and he has a chain in front of left rear. Was just doing some reading, should I...

Thank you guys! It's much appreciated
-
Yeah I really don't know anything about them. Was there a huge difference in overall chassis design between the dirt and pavement car? I wouldn't mind running this as a 3 bar car and hitting some...
-
I just downloaded the setup page but it doesn't show where to measure ride heights either...
-
Looking for setup advice for my 2010 Rayburn combo car. Mainly what springs I should be using and a ball park number on scale numbers. I know the mod stuff we've been getting crazy high on bite and...

Are there any Ellis dirt modified setup sheets out there? I didn't even know Ellis made a dirt mod til I found this one lol

I was talking with a guy last night about a 2010 Rayburn combo late model and he asked if it had the Rayburn revolution update. Can anyone tell me what that is? I have no idea if this car has it or...
-
Thanks guys. I went and checked both cars out tonight. The masters has the s7 front end already, but the Rayburn appears to be in better shape and better taken care of. After a chat with rusty the...

Hey guys. Been out of late model racing for 10 years, even wanting to get another one. Got a buddy that has a few cars for sale and I was wondering what one you think I should get. He's got a 2010...

I agree on the 2 bolt being stronger and less crack prone. Mine is a 2 bolt, 14:1 and I turn it as high as 8500rpms. Haven't hurt it yet.

Honestly having run both, i hate my 377. ill take a 421 over it any day. i like the low end torque.
-
I do the same as slmcrewchief99 on my modified. Works great. Flatter, smoother tracks I run a 450 rf, more banking or rough I jump to 550
-
That's what I've been thinking too. I hate the feel of this lift arm. I'm gonna see if I can get someone to weld a mount in for me this week. It's gotta make it better. If not it's going down the...

Last night out I bottomed out the shock. The thing definitely drives like crap lol. I will measure how far it's out now vs how far out I can get it and get back with you. Thank you for your response!...

Have a 2010 Sherman updated to 2017. Cars got no forward drive no matter what shocks and springs or scale numbers I throw at it. I believe my problem lies in the lift arm. I am totally new to lift...

^^^ exactly. I run a thin bump on the lr just so I don't bottom the shock out.
-
Yeah, these have a bit of an arch. I was gonna set them at the same height I did the stock lowers but wanted to see what others had to say first
-
I've got a copy of a 2001 lightning. I've always ran stock lowers on it, but I put a set of ubm square tube lowers on it this winter. I see on the lightning setup sheet it shows ride heights with a...

If you run your springs directly on the swing arms you must run heavier springs, I usually start with 375 RR and 350 LR. You can lock the bird cages and take the top bars off, but you're just...

That sounds like the Butler Motor Speedway of old 25jrjr. Sure do miss those days.
-
I was wondering the same thing. I ran 7* on my solid pullbar stuff and it seemed fine.
-
I didn't catch the solid pull bar lol. Is that a lot for a solid pull bar? Nevermind on the 9* lol
