It would be the overlap of the valves, to tight, not allowing valves enough time to close and open,

what is your lsa at, you may have this very tight, and not allowing the valves to close in time before, next cycle

Spindles are gm metric, lower a frames are off a nova. Upper a frames are Rightfoot performance. Chassis really isn't a really a copy of anything. Front end geometry is close to a bob pierce car....
