On the KK704 we run 3 in. of split

The LR chain drop could be too much it needs to be 15 3/4 in. from top of Birdcage to bottom of frame rail when the chain is tight.
You also may want to raise the RR upper link on the chassis ....

Raise j-bar on pinion to 1 1/2 in. above yolk on QC and adjust frame side until you have 3 1/2in.

When the shock is behind it will slow the shaft speed down and not ramp up the rate of the
shock compression as much as if it were in the front. Both ways work well, I just prefer the shock behind....

I like having the shock on back, If their was a lot of traction in the track either raise the
RR Upper link on the chassis or stiffen the RR spring.
