I'm curious about this too. The P/D seems like it would act similar to a stack with jam nut setup. And the air dump is interesting too. I'd like to try the air dump myself but the shocks we have...

Why not just run the shock and spring in front of the axle clamped on the LR? I'm sure someone can dig up some old setup books with a baseline clamped setup. The spring packages were different back...

They mean remove the shortener bracket and install the long 18" (bent) rod and put it up in the 6th hole.
If you are running the short LRL bar in the 4th hole and broke it due to clearance issues...

The closer the pick up points (4 link, or shock/spring) to the axle center the quicker the reaction and weight transfer becomes at the points you've changed. If you are just lowering your pickup...

Have you kept an eye on RF shock travel? And is the engine just up 1/2" or is it up and to the right? The suggestions given are good advice, but from personal experience with an 04 black front car,...

You absolutely do effect weight % by adjusting the spring pre-load/ride height and spring rates. And depending on what you do, determines how and what.... It may not make a noticable or significant...

The closer to center of the axle the quicker the reaction and thrust.. I'm not sure about moving it foreward, The last set of cages we had that had that option were Berts and that was years ago.We...

Envy is top notch. If you are planning on going with afco, I wouldn't buy the edge package, I would just call Kirk and get the same package redone by him. We have ran numerous brands, but getting a...

$1,250
Honestly, if you want one bad enough, you can build one for under $3-400. The one we use isn't motorised, and it was home...

The one with the least amount of fatigue and that you can get the most support for in your area... Try to locate one that was ran minimal, maybe 1 night a week, and not terribly abused (over...

If you simply unbolt the top of the shock and move it in or out it is going to affect alot more than percentages and wedge. You have spring rate, ride height, travel, 4 link angles, and J-bar angle...

We have played with the angle of the LR shock in the past when we ran Swartz cars as Audie came up with the idea to add a shockmount on the outside of the LR frame rail. This was a 2000 4-link car...

Adding compression to the shock isn't the best way to stop a car from slamming the right front down.. A shock is a timing device used to speed up or slow down how fast weight is transferred. Not...

The "clamped" setup can still be made to work today, but it is a little outdated when compared to the advancements we have made in making the LR behind setup work.
The clamped setup works solely...

I think with the economy being bad, and gas prices rising it is going to hurt alot of people's decisions on how many nights a week they race, and how far away they are willing to travel.
