As I stated in another thread, I don't think losing everything you gained during the event, plus some is 'nothing'. Should never have been suspensions in the first place, IMO
-
I have not heard anyone say they are back on tour, but how do you propose they fight this? Really the only way to fight it would be to have a camera on your tires from the time they come off the...
-
I wouldn't call losing $10,000, 144 points and probation all year 'nothing'. What happens if you don't make weight? Heck, you can literally bolt on a tire that is not allowed and get less of a...

I do not remember, has Lucas ever DQ'd a driver for juiced tires?
-
One series clearly doesn't trust the lab that the other uses.
-
Another reminder to get information from the source, not from an internet message board. Someone asked Rick Schwallie not long after it happened and he said they could race Lucas.
-
In Florida when they had the blowup about the swimming pools, heaters & freezers they said the suspension would be for both series. Apparently there was none of that used in the fairy tale Blue...
-
Maybe the fuel they bought at the track is legal, but their additive is in the tank? Devin says they bought their tires at the track, so at least in his case it wouldn't matter.
-
I'll agree that DOD is not what it once was, it is still the best source of information for dirt late models. I'm sure they are losing races because tracks and sanctions believe they can do it...
-
IDK about all that. I doubt these teams keep every tire ever tested and document when/where it was tested. Most of these tires prolly didn't leave florida with the teams.
-
Are they worried about catching people cheating tires, or are they wanting to stop teams from doing it? I get it that maybe they think it's best that the general public doesn't know the results, but...
-
No, lol I took your original comment to mean something else. My bad
-
I'm not sure how they would fight it. The sanctioning body has the tire samples, the teams prolly do not even know which tire in the trailer it came from after several weeks. I'm not sure lawsuits...
-
According the the DOD guys, yes there has been.
-
That rumor is old, and said to be untrue.
-
I sure don't, but I do realize that at least 2 of these guys were tested many times by WOO last year and many times in Florida this year and passed all other tests. I don't think tire dope is...

It would surprise me. When he went to the Sellers ride they sold their Longhorns and bought Rockets because Hudson liked the Rockets better.
-
I'm going to guess that the same thing that drove Josh away also drove B-Shepp and Huddy away. I don't think either party lacks interest from other teams and drivers.
-
It will be interesting. Richards has made it clear in the past that the drivers are to drive the car, not worry about the car staying together (he says that's his job). Being told that would change...
-
Be interesting to see. I remember when he went to drive for Roger they sold their longhorn stuff because Hudson liked the Rocket cars better.
-
I'm not sure Longhorn pulled factory support. Maybe Tim didn't want to be the guinea pig any longer.
-
If that's the rumor, it can be quickly debunked beings those tires are not produced anymore.
-
I think one of the options Feger mentioned last night is prolly the case. All the trading in of 'unused' tires. Nobody knows what the initial buyer did to a tire before they decided they didn't...
-
That was part of the initial rumors I heard, but now they're saying that part wasn't true.
-
Does WRG do random testing of tires straight from hoosier? Point being, using 1 tire from "lot A" to set a benchmark for all others doesn't really sound like good science to me. Seems they are...
