Leafs or coils? How much LR bite do you have?
-
How much angle down to frame is a good starting point for top bars on a metric 4 link?
-
Depends on if you are looking for weight transfer. Mine is mounted down at the frame right behind the seat.
-
One inch of steer or 1 inch of trail in the RR?
-
Just get a Muncy 4 speed and the right gears to run it in high gear.
-
Not really. Sold the car. Got a new Camaro clip car.

I am running a basic metric 4 link rear set up but we are allowed adjustable arms and multi hole mounts. Is there any advantage in running longer or shorter upper arms? as I said the arms are...

It will take IMCA a year or 2 to get manufacturers to put an IMCA stamp on them so they can charge more.

Thanks. Right now I have the right side lower level and the left at 10 degrees. I'll drop the rake and see how it does. Was hoping to run last night, but, got rained out.

I believe it's 30%. I was told by a highly respected member here and a chassis builder that Chevelle's are 36%, Camaro and Nova are 30% and metric is 23%

To answer a few of the questions. The RR is tucked in as far as I can, has a 4" offset wheel on it. The RF has a 2" offset with a 1/2 inch spacer. Minimum weight is 3000# but to get any rear...

moderately banked. About 3" of travel on the shock indicator

I posted a few months ago about lacking side bite and I have tried all the suggestions and found things that helped, but, I'm still not getting the side bite I would like unless the track is super...

What is the advantage of using a softer RF spring and a bump stop?
-
Thats exactly what I have for wheel offsets. I took the springs out tonight to check suspension for binds. Everything is free. I reduced some of the bite and cross. I also double checked my ride...
-
Sorry I forgot. Car weighs 3190# with me in it and has 225# of LR bite.
Never thought of running the cross that low. I have always run cross above 50%. Always ran leaf cars in the past. Wouldn't...

I have a 68-72 Chevelle frame stock car. My set up at this point is 52% left, 52% cross and 53% rear. Springs are 900 RF, 800 LF, 250 LR 175 RR. I am lacking side bite and drive off. The car gets in...

You want the lower mount to be about 7" below axle centerline. usually mounting to the back of trailing arm mounts is good.
-
Nova lowers will widen the track by about 2" and push the wheels ahead about an inch. You have to use older Rear steer Nova lowers and swap sides. Left on Right and right on Left.
-
How much were you leading the LR??
-
I bought a holley 500 Circle Track performance carb to run on my Street Stock. 358 500+ HP. Is the stock 30cc accelerator pump OK or should I replace it with a 50cc?
-
Not really more, just quicker..

Softer shock will speed up the motion
