I know the Hoosier open e-mod tires are said to be .4 faster than the UMP emod tires. I also know AR's are regarded as a better tire for most. What would you run if it only had to be an 8" racing...

Will consider buying the PS pump with it as well for the right deal. Interested in mechanical drive pumps only, not the conventional tandem pump style.
Thanks!

Hey guys! With Florida behind everyone, does anyone have any feedback on the new A40s tire? How does it perform? Any suggestions for preparing the new tire? Longevity? Speaking of strictly...

As title states, need a set of 80-90 caprice spindles that uses an 11 inch rotor. Will pay shipping. Reply or PM please.

Set of 4 Ohlins CCJ shocks, sells for $440 EACH!!! These are NEW, never bolted on a car. Rebound adjustable, steel bodies (to conform to rules requiring a steel shock) complete with dyno sheets. The...

There's two of those out there, both good cars with good setups and drivers. Neither won.

I know the obvious answer from most will be 3-link.
I race at a track that the stock cars (sort of sportsman, super stock, limited lates) are dominated by straight leaf springs. We're allowed...

Accidentally posted this in the "gossip" section, thought I should repost this here.....
Just curious to the theory of being hard on the right front, in addition to the tons of camber on the RF?

Hi!
I am currently running a muncie style trans (21" length) with a 4" yoke. About one inch is visible between the end of the tailshaft and the end of the yoke. I am going to bert transmissions...

Two "cheater" Bert transmissions. Works the same as a Bert with internal clutches (high is direct drive), but built into GM ALUMINUM Muncie cases to conform to our previous rules. One works great,...

Hi again!
I am putting together this system using the stock camaro inner tie rods. Anyone know off hand what the thread is on these? I assumed it was 5/8-20, but I'd be wrong.

Thanks! What are the risks with too much lowering block? How much is too much? 3.5" total be OK?

Hey guys,
Needing to get my ride height correct, it looks like I will need to use between 3-4" of lowering blocks....which means I will likely need 12" u-bolts. This is for a 3" axle tube. Any...

676rh17 676lh24 are the numbers on the spindles that came on the car. No useful info on the other set....

Grr, what a pain to figure out.
I bought a car with a camaro clip, and had to replace the spindles. I later found out (the hard way) that the outer wheel bearings on 78-81 are larger, and that...

Actually after looking back at the pics, I don't entirely hate how the tie rods were done....I was just bummed the adjustable adapters I bought wont work since the spindles were all drilled out for...

Hi guys!
Building a new car for next season, and used a donor car to build it. Turns out 90% of the stuff of the donor car is old, worn out, bent, or junk. We used the camaro clip off of it.

Looking for some nice metric aluminum calipers to use on a GN housing using an .810 rotor. Email or PM me with what you have.....

Awesome discussion, this is going to be a lot of fun to work with! PS, this is actually a 3,000 pound car on 8" tires if that changes the discussion much. However, the body will be modeled roughly...
