After Selinsgrove last weekend, Dylan Yoder made it sound like him and his dad Jim are planning on making their first trip to Eldora for the Dream.
-
To update this thread now, we could remove Eckert and Zeigler, neither are in FL. We can also move D. Erb from Lucas to WoO. That leaves us with 14 potential for WoO and 16 for Lucas at this point....
-
MI Dirt Fan, I agree, Lucas has had the tougher competition for years. It's just more lopsided this year than ever.
-
That is probably the weakest WoO field ever to start out the season. In a way it's good because it opens the door for the rookies to jump in, get right into the top-12 for tow money and know they...
-
Just curious, does anyone know if Moyer (Sr) plans to run any more summer nationals races now that he has dropped off full time? I'd think he'd want to still take a shot at getting to #100 before...
-
Absolutely, thanks to DOD for everything they do, and thanks to Cody and Mansfield Speedway for allowing it to be broadcast free!
-
@bullring: That Australian ran the whole tour last year and finished 7th or 8th in points. Dennis didn't. Stubber gets the provisional, pretty simple to me.
As for traveling with Lucas, it's not...
-
Thirlby? He's not running the tour is he?
-
Well, you could. He apparently chooses not to.
-
I was at Port tonight, the track was great all night, you could run pretty much anywhere. The top may have been slightly better in the heats, but they were all over the track in the B-Mains and...
-
I'm just going by the dirtondirt video, but they had a pretty good look at it and it looked clearly intentional to me. Even before they entered 1, Erb was running the bottom and RJ wasn't up beside...
-
Actually Lanigan hit Conley coming off 4, causing him to bounce down sideways in front of Bloomer. Not Conley's fault or Bloomer's.
Now, I'm curious about the heat race deal between Conley and...
-
You're probably right, I should have just said Bloomer "got himself a modified".
-
This is a huge modified race, but not the biggest ever. It's funny how many have forgotten about the Alltel 100, which paid $100,000 for modifieds way back in 2004, back when $2,000 was a lot of...
-
Nope. I cannot watch one of those races on DOD without muting it. I often wonder, if you're at the track do the cars drown him out during the race? If not, I simply don't think I could attend one...

Richards
McCreadie
Lanigan

I'm surprised how many of those WoO guys are going. Sheppard and Clanton make sense, maybe Shirley too since he ran well there last year and seems to have unlimited equipment this year. But the...
-
How about a crossover from a different division? We DLM fans all know that T-Mac is Tim McCreadie, but if you also follow sprints you'll know that midwestern sprint car driver Terry McCarl has also...
-
SIDEWAYS, actually as I understand it, it's the opposite. The XR1 are built out of a new tubing that flexes and does NOT last as long. From what I've heard, they are fast as heck out of the box,...
-
Erb has been an aggressive driver all year, but his driving has been getting more and more ridiculous the past month or so. In the Firecracker non-qualifiers race he was running a distant 2nd, and...
-
The biggest thing is the video highlights - you get about 6-8 minute highlight reels from the heats and features, plus interviews with the top 5, for every major race - usually 7-10 different races...
-
You are entitled to your opinion. I hope you would be happy watching 10-car fields then, because nobody else would be able to keep racing if they all paid like that.
But I don't want to hijack...
-
Did you see the full payout somewhere? Because $800 to start for a $10K race is very good. Most unsanctioned $10K races pay $500-$600 to start, WoO races pay $700, and Lucas is the only one that...
-
What's the chance they will reschedule? As in, before the weekend? I would say zero. Thursday and Friday look beautiful. Sunday isn't bad either, but Saturday looks like rain. It's possible they...
-
Seems like a good deal to me. It's been pretty much the same for the past few years so I'm glad to see someone mix it up a little. The GA tracks finally won't be directly competing. The WoO teams...
