Thanks, the raised Rt. Front and crossmember are on the list for the off season.
-
I'm sure someone has tried different Lower control arms and spindles on these things before.
I've heard Mastersbilt S7 stuff is a direct bolt on and really helps these older black fronts turn. ????
-
The front has already been changed to aftermarket upper A frame Towers and tubular A Frames. If it is shortened I think we decided not to go less then 104.
-
We can shorten it any way we would like but I can't decide if I want too.

What's everyone's opinion on wheelbase?
Division I run in allows a 101 inch wb.
Pros and cons of a 101 inch wb versus a 108 inch wb?

I've been running it even with the pinion on a tight stop and go like track but I lack the side bit I'd like to have off the corner. Right now I've been running a 450LF 375RF a 200RR and a 175LR....

Rockets set up book calls for the pinion side of the J bar to be set 5/8" below the pinion for every chassis they have.
I have mine even with the pinion (07 blk front). Have others found that these...

I have a 07 blk front rocket. it has different locations to mount the top of the rf shock which allows it to be laid inboard at the top. I know this would make the spring react as if it were softer...
-
I've thought about going softer on the RF but haven't yet.

I run a 425 LF 375RF 175LR and 200RR. I am not allowed to run stacked springs or bump stops. I'm pretty happy with this setup. My question is when your talking about a 250 or 275 RF are you talking...

I'll check that too . Thanks

Guys I need some help. I'm having trouble getting my transmission out of low and into high. I've replaced the shifter fork, the shafts and installed the new piston type deal that replaced the old...

First things first. Rules don't allow stacked springs of adjustable shocks. (Going back old school with this class)
We can run a snubber with the chain on left rear but no shock in front.
My...

Ok, thanks for the advice. I'll check it.

Sounds like a progressive rate spring. It's like a normal spring on top but the more its compressed it becomes a very high rate.
-
I am having trouble shifting from low to high when I'm moving on track.
I can sit in the shop or the pits with the engine idling and shift from low to neutral easy but the minute I go on track it...
-
I think I've figured it out. Mine is a black front (07). I just moved the rods until I had both bird cages straight up and down. That to me would take all indexing out of them.
-
Well I ordered the setup book from rocket and have read through it twice. To me there is some confusion when it comes to the "netural" holes. It gives no mention for the rr at all.
Maybe I'm making...

I want to know if the lateral location being adjusted without the driver will change once the driver gets in or vise versa?
-
Thanks for the info. I appreciate it.

Last night was the first night id driven this new rocket I bought and I have a few questions. What length limit chain do most run on the left rear?
Also I measure my lateral width from the inside...

Thanks guys. The reason I was going to switch was because the rubber bushing is worn out and I can't seem to find them to replace it. I've searched the Web and thought I'd found them through Poskies...

I have a 07 BLK front Rocket. It has the 2 piece lowers and I was thinking of going to the one piece on the rt frt. Anyone ever switched over to the 1 piece and if so how did it work out?
