Quite simply, it is a driver of a certain caliber having an option of participating in 2 or more shows. Those shows are within similar distances.
That driver, chooses to participate at the show...

Rules have nothing to do with cherry picking, nor does being ready to race.

Cherry picking does exist. Never understood why some are so sensitive to the term.
