The track should be fine Friday. The pits will be a mess. The best/smartest thing might be to move it to a Saturday/Sunday show. That'd give the pits a chance to dry out. Just my opinion.

WoO runs the show at Farmer City. Track just does what WoO wants.

If someone wanted to build a new track anywhere (including Florida) they would face many walls. Noise ordinances/zoning issues/access to/from facilities/the $$$ needed to get it started/basically...

It'd be pretty easy in the Illinois footprint.
Farmer City, Fairbury,Macon, Lincoln, Spoon River, Quincey. Belleville, etc.

They could in theory work together by having one of the tracks run a nice $$ show for modifieds and the other could run a crate special. You never can know what the car count will be at any track...

Hypothetically...............This coming November Lucas/WOO/SN/Mars comes to you and says they will race at your track next July XX (the only date offered) but there is another big race 3 hours away....

When should they have rescheduled it? Only so many dates in the season. I96 had already cancelled for next Friday so the date was available for the SN to fill. Makes sense to me. Sorry you don't...
