Some of the chemicals teams have been using are very bad for your health when breathing it in. It's a much as the series trying to protect crew members' health as much as it is cheating up tires.

Compared to what? Taken the family to a movie or ball game lately?

One of the tracks I work for tried this with the schools and got no bounce from it. Kids aren't into cars like they used to be.

I tell people this all the time. Go to a movie, ball game, or show and see how much tickets, parking, and concessions are for those things. Dirt racing is still a good bargain.

Maybe the track chose not to have their races streamed any more or are choosing a different service.

He called some WoO races for Speed Channel about 10-12 years ago. He was good then and still good now.

Bingo. And now there is more technology coming that everyone will think they have to have and it will trickle down to the regional racer that can't afford to race as it is.

Good comment. There are lots of reason why tracks are closing and car counts go down. Younger people having no interest in cars is one of them as well.

They got the top race right. Not sure if anyone would remember it since it was in January.

It is. But the owner thinks someone may want to buy it for something else, hence the higher price tag.

The track being for sale is not new news. This has been known since late September. What is new is Ray saying there won't be any racing there this year unless it's sold to someone else as a track....

Maybe it's quiet because people are nervous about the future of the sport.

Some of the team owners are for that.

I don't know if Lucas was looking to sell as much as it was Sweet and Larson trying to buy it.

There will probably only be a few times Lucas and High Limit will be at the same track. It won't be as many people think or what Sweet said in the video.
