we ran Landrums, used a set of afcos once and seemed good to go but changed them quicker then the Landrum so we went back to them. This was on a 3000 pound limited Late with Monos.

oh im sorry, I read it as he was not using a shroud, if you have a good shroud with the fan tight to the opening, and half in half out, then the distance is not so critical as long as it is sealed...

it all depends where your dizzy stops advancing at. Find that point, usually around 3000 if its set up right, then make your base timing from there.
