make sure where the dist. fits in the block is clean ,,it needs ground there,,,

no a 308 is the same..but the 8.8 has several more different ratios than the 7.5

depends on what size tires your are going to run...13 inch or 14 inch,,if u run 13 inch tires i would go with 308 gears and 14 inch tires ,i would go with 345 gears.that is if u have a 7.5 rear end

i run on a 3/10 mile oval with 195/70.14 4 speed second gear,with 373 gears around 8000 rpm's

i think u have a turbo head,,the lifters bores are bigger in a turbo head..i ran into that problem

after u milled the head more,,did u change the jets?and u might have to run racing fuel,,not enough octane in pump gas..since u have raised the compression more when u milled the head more...

mustang would be a great car,,,aftermarket parts are pretty easy to find,,,2.3 ford engine..pretty simple engines
