I pretty much agree with DirtRacer9x, except I would suggest preloading the spring about an inch before starting to measure in 1 inch increments. Also be very careful. That loaded spring can do...

How about running a half inch longer stud in the balljoint. You should check and see what impact this will have on your roll center, etc.

Yuppers, RR is ahead of LR.

Can you reach a point where too much right rear lead will actually lose forward bite instead of tightening the car? Is 1" too much?

The 2014 IMCA Mod rules are posted. Crates now get a 2" spoiler, not 3".

I don't think so. It sounds to me like you have the wrong tach for your application. It sounds like you have a tach for a magneto not a distributor.

Clearance between the face of the flywheel and the face of the starter idler gear should be 0.060" to 0.080".

Brinns also also use a pilot point set screw to help retain the bushing in place.

I always use LOCTITE #620 GREEN SLEEVE RETAINER on the bushing when I install them.

When the scales shutoff, do you have to go around and turn each one on individually or does just rolling the car off and on the scales turn them on?
-
On our mod the upper and lower balljoints studs are different diameters. Do I have to compensate for the diameter difference or just read directly. Do you use this method as your primary method for...

Quick n dirty way is to just use lumber. You can build just a roll-off or build a a box to get some height to make it easier to work under the car to make adjustments. 1" square tubing and and some...
