Cam was fine. Found out the valve was hitting the edge of the pockets. I don't think the pockets are cut right.

Looking at cometic head gaskets and they make a special gasket for the sb2 head. Is this the only option for these heads or will the standard mls gaskets work also? Thanks.

Aluminum driveshafts are rated at 600hp. What do guys run with 800hp? What other options are there other than carbon?

This is a canister filter with removable screen. It's a 60 micron. I have the pre screen on it before the pump too. Peterson states this is all I need but I'm not familiar with this.

I am using the Peterson inline oil filter with the stainless screen and I'm wandering if I still need a spin on filter or is the screen filter all I Need? I have an wet sump with external oil pump.

I ordered a set of molnar extreme duty rods today along with there 4340 crank. I think they are more suited for the job. Thanks.

Yes has to be 6 inch with my setup. NASCAR rods are designed for 1 race and the sizes are all off the wall. They take special cranks and pin sizes. That's why there so cheap.

Anyone use the blue push on hose for dry sump setup? From pump to filter to cooler to engine. Got hose and fittings just curious if it was a good idea. Hose is rated for 250psi.

Curious if anyone knows if the cams for the sb2.2 block with sb2.2 heads will work in a standard block with the sb2.2 heads? I know the journals will need ground down but not sure if they will work...
