How long does a race have to be in existence to be considered "Crown Jewel"?? 10years?
I also don't consider money to make it a Crown Jewel race. And this is a track I raced weekly at.
-
That's what I noticed the most when I went from a straight spring rate to progressive. On a hooked up track where you might be off throttle and then wide open you will notice it hooks up slower, I...

Every NASCAR driver has said that at one time or another.
-
Had same issue, shortened driveshaft 1" and never had a problem after that.
-
True, but if they settle it will set a precedent for future litigation that ultimately will not be good for the sport.
-
One thing is for sure, this case won't get settled anytime soon.

On chevelle stub, measurement is 7-1/4" or 7-3/8" if I remember right. That's lower control arm bolt to ground. I always followed my chassis mfg spec, but when I measured the bolt to the gorund they...

So if you ran a scoop backwards, would the air over the deck siphon the air from under?
-
55K and all you need is engine and seat. So it's not completely out of line, still a tad high for a 1 season old car.
-
KSE Tandem on ours, also ran a belt drive BLP fuel pump. Both worked well.
-
I wouldn't go any softer than 800#. Going from a solid to a 1200# may not be a huge difference, which wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. Honestly if you are fast with what you have a solid bar can...

Guys don't build cheap engines anymore because they are buying reliability. Problem with chip rule now you can't spin a 355 over 8k like the old days. Valve float was the original rpm limiter. lol
-
I liked lower gear in my car, but my engine also liked to be lugged more than screaming rpm. Going from a 5.29 to 5.14 9" made a big difference for me. So there are a few variables, the beauty of the...

I used the earfuze and liked them. Also don't have the volume at max on the raceiver. Go one volume level below max.

Also to add... If these track promoters complain about social media, but then use it for their own promotion. You can't have it both ways.
-
Last couple I watched the sound was off so far they were idling down the straights and hammer down in the corners.
-
On a 4bar car, I would think it would work the same on a 2 bar. If you chain the RR it's to keep the chassis from climbing off the RR spring on to the bar(s). Chaining the RR down can tighten the car...

90lb/ft is what we torqued all of our wheels down to.
-
JDR, VDL, Willy's probably in that order.

You can get deck mount oil coolers in -10 and -12. My engine builder liked -12, and that's what I ran on my wet sump engine with an external oil pump.
-
I sure hope he isn't using AN6 for oil cooler lines. But just as a reference if it was AN12 like most would it be double?
-
And people think Social Media is the end of Dirt Track racing. LOL It might actually be the thing that saves it if this goes any further.
-
Does Yelp help/hurt restaurants? Of course it does. The good ones get more business and the bad ones don't. Just like any business. It's the way of the world now. Complaining about it isn't going to...

It's more like a UMP or USMTS car with spec shocks and crate engines.
