If Racer Walsh is open can I get there contact info?
-
Racer Walsh is no longer open. Try speed way motors. What are the specs of your cam.? That is the rpm range that I race in.
-
OK, one of them 282 dur 112 lobe separation and the other is 282 dur 108 separation. The later one is a higher lift but it's closer to my rpm range.
-
Thank you so much for answering, I appreciate it.
-
My reason for asking is that the motor is already assembled. The lift of the cams that I'm looking at are .420", .450" and .480" roller style.
-
I have an undecked block with wiseco pistons and an unmilled head with the larger valves, my question is what do you feel is the highest can lift I can run without valve clearance issues?
-
Anyone out there know where to find the tool that is required to install new cam bearing in the head. BTW want to do it without taking the head off.
-
On a Ford 2.3 the head has been milled .120" and I was wondering what's the highest lift roller hyd cam you can run? I am thinking of using the roller rockers from a ranger on the 2.3 head.

Thank you for your answer, I live in Florida that was my reason for asking.
-
do you know of any places on the east coast that do this type of work?
-
I did call Bob and to be honest with shipping and his charges I might look for some one closer.

I'm running a volley 350 2bl carb on a 2.3 ford in road course racing and I have a bad bobble coming out of the corners. I have just learned that the power valve circuit flows to much fuel for the...

web site might be up but the business is closed. it doesn't accept orders

any one here use a single disc 4 pad design clutch disc with the stock pressure plate?
-
I shift @7000 rpm and I missed one 3rd to 4th shift and over revved it. Clutch was gone after that. It was an organic clutch disc from racer Walsh, which is no longer open.

I run a 1993 fox body with a 2.3 in it in the scca. This will be my second clutch this year. I was wondering what other 2.3 motor guys are running. Thank you.
-
are you sure you cant ship?
-
there is a difference. MSD E coils work in different rpm ranges
-
Old Rob, i race a 2.3 in the scca and i wouldnt give up my power steering but you do have my attention. How do change the regulating spring?
-
you see, the 95+ sliders are 1.86:1 ratio. Can that rocker be run with the A237 cam without spring problems or anything else?
-
i have heard that the rockers on the Ford ranger are a different ratio than the mustangs, i do understand that the vale is a different dia but you can machine it to fit the mustang valves. do you...

Hello to all,
I live in Tampa Fl and race in the SCCA. I was wondering if any one knows of a local machine shop to have my block decked and bored 30 over.
