Raise the fuel cell, battery and any lead up.
-
JMO leave your springs alone and move the RR forward for tighter entry and exit
-
Had the same problem and it was the coil.
-
I used a different brand with a centered rear and the same diameter both sides and the car was faster on entry and exit especially on the dry. They DO twist
-
750 lbs LR wheel weight.... JMO
-
The stopwatch tells the difference.

I believe the shorter left side axle promotes better forward drive
than a centered rearend. Having the left side axle twist less than the
right under acceleration is the reason.Remember, the LR is...

Engine height/weight is a big factor determining what Rf to run
Jbar angle and height will also affect what Rf spring to run.
A high engine with steel heads will require a 650 with a chevelle clip...

make sure the secondary butterflys are closing far enough to keep
fuel from getting sucked out of the fuel bowls when you lift.Consider
adding another return spring just for the secondarys.
-
4 bar the right side..leave the spring on top off the housing(better roll steer on entry)
lose the short panhard,use a 18"to19" jbar 5.5" split ( more predictable,more sidebite,easier to drive)...
-
Lowering the J bar (both ends) will create more roll. Are your rear brake pads
giving up in the feature causing the car to go tight.. If so install better pads.Consider installing more aggressive...

Piece of a cheap blue tarp doubled up and fastened to the
underside of the deck works amazing.
-
make sure the right rear is not sticking out more the the right front
lower panhard on frame 1 inch
have 1 or 2 degrees of rake in the car
-
I would square the rear end back up,and try at least 20 degrees in the right upper bar,it should
put more drive in the RR freeing you up.getting the wheel base to tight on the right side will ...

Run the shock on the back of the clamp bracket. 9-2 shock
Don't have more than 2" of shock shaft showing at ride height
Short panhards suck for corner handling, run a 18" J bar
Z links on the RR...
-
Not running a lift arm but if I was the LR shock would be clamped in front of the axle. Some very fast cars do this.
-
Any difference you feel would probably be because the 9 inch and the quick change
use different length axles.
-
For the money.... Hotlap II
-
Good question,I wish somebody would who has run them both would weigh in.
-
IMO 1" and I would not use a progressive. lbs would depend how high your hooked up on top of the housing.
-
No problem.. but I beleive you are going to have to move the RR forward to get some speed. 1/8 at time.
-
8-2 LR 4-6 RF Car is loose or tight in? No forward drive? Shaws tuning guide is pretty good.
-
Add 5 gallons of fuel and go 20 points taller on the gear
-
When you set your clamp/shock mount the rear should be at full drop and rotate the bracket so the shock has at least 1 inch of extension left in it for axle wrap.tack weld to housing . Try to get the...
