Any thoughts regarding Speedway leafs vs Landrum or Afco? Any idea who makes Speedway leafs?

I run on a 1/4 mile track and run the 7.5 rear end. I run a 2.14 and 3.73 gear and pull 7800. I can drop that to 7200 by running a 3.45 gear. Anything less than that at our track can't keep up.

If you are running a 214 with a 389 gear you have way too much gear. On a 3/8 track I run a 214 and a 327 gear. You must be turning the top off the motor.

If you can, buy some 15" multifit wheels from day motorsports and then you have all kinds of tire choices. I made the change and ran Kumho tires...$65 each...ran one set for two years on a 1/4 mile...
