Oooooh the the best asphalt racer on the planet! Good for him. Again bless me with your almighty knowledge Bubba. I did listen, and he's wrong. Also, did I say he didn't have a right to speak his...

Why do people think the guy winning all the races would know how to improve short track racing? Just because you can buy an expensive car, get setup help, and drive a racecar to victory lane doesn't...
-
No kidding. For most racers, the idea of racing a SLM isn't even a thing. It's unrealistic to evenn humor the idea. Only way is if someone offered you a ride.
-
The cars are too expensive and there isn't enough interest and fans out there to help the track afford a high payout. Seems people only really care about Lucas Oil and WOO when it comes to late...
-
4m.potato. Then again, most of you in the racing community are potatoes. Hang on to your buttholes. America as we know it is going down and isn't coming back. This was the last free place on earth,...

Ah yes. Considering 99% of you are immune to reason, watching the beautiful destruction of short track racing gives me a rush of schadenfreude.
-
Also, how are you supposed to get an advantage if everyone has the same thing and you can't tamper with the engine??
-
There's nothing you can do about it. People will always cheat. Smart people and big spenders will always find a way around it. Rules never helped anything or ever made racing cheaper.

I have no animosity towards the engineers and the rich involved in racing. Most of them are ok people. I just want large car counts and the fate of the races in the hands of the drivers and the...

Chupp N Bloomer that is exactly what I'm trying to say. About the time you've caught up and bought a good used car 1-4 years old, they've already built a better mousetrap. How many perfectly good...

I don't know, do a good job preparing your car and a good job driving. Won't be able to get a huge advantage. You're gonna have to work for it. What do you think I meant? They dictate what stagger,...

This isn't the haves vs the have nots. This is the life vs death of short track racing. Don't worry, us little have nots are leaving slowly one by one. The core problem here is when they were talking...
-
And that's why I have no hope for the future of short track racing. It could be so simple and easy to fix, but almost no one wants to do it.
-
We need to bring short track racing back by making it cheaper and easier for people to compete, but we gotta have the ridiculously fast cars. How do we fix this? The answer has gotta be around here...
-
Not at all. Maybe they couldn't use the throttle on a slick track with a Vic Hill engine. But isn't that the point? I suppose they could keep the 12 inch tires.
-
Make the nose smaller. Deck should be flat. No carving out the sail panel. No fancy shocks or parts such as progressive springs. Chain the left rear down so it can only extend 2 inches above ride...

"Completely legal". Lol. Is your second sentence a statement or a question? Since when were modified engines $60k?! So he maybe has a full time job?
-
So I just noticed he won all 4 big races in Illinois labor day weekend. Do you really think he's legal? Pretty sure there's something funny going on. If he's so good, why not just get a late model...
