    Default S-7 Spindles

Can someone explain the handling and geometry differences between the old smackdown spindles and the new S-7's?

I just talked to Keith about it this week and from what he told me, you need new control arms and the left upper a-frame support gets replaced when you go S7. In other words, it's not just the spindles. Basically the whole front end gets replaced.
The S7 setup allows you to run a softer RF spring without bottoming out. That being the case, I'm gonna say that the geometry changes cause the dynamic roll center to move more to the right as the car rolls when compared to the standard stuff. That's my guess...surely somebody else on here knows better than I do.
If I recall, that complete update was $695. We were going to buy new lowers this year and our left upper support on the chassis was already tweaked from a wreck (used shims to get by) so it's kind of a no brainer for us this off season. Call Keith - he'll talk you into it :-)
