    Default connecting rod that will hold 750 horses

    would like a light connecting rod that will hold 750 horses and not break the bank looking to spend 800.00 to 1200.00 any info would be great .thanks also going on a callies magnum xls crank

    oliver parabolic beam rods are really really good rods and there right in your price range.......i think theyd be good for 750 horses

    Howards makes 3 I-beam rods rated higher than 750.
    Dense forged lite 6" 585g rated at 800hp $730
    Ultimate billet 6" 673g rated at 1000hp $880
    Billet Lite 6" 620g rated at 800hp $900

    Oliver, Dyer, Crower. Maybe check with Tom at K1 Technologies aswell, a cheaper line but great quality and machining. Remeber HP doesn't break rods, piston speed and weight do. How many RPM, what stroke and how heavy of a piston?

    Quality of rod bolts play into that as well.

    If you get a dyer or an Oliver rod your gonna get a dang good rod bolt w/ it.
