Default Electric Fan CFM vs Mechanical fan RPM.

What does the electrical fan CFM convert to mechanical fan RPM? What CFM is needed for a dirt track motor? Would a 4600 CFM Electrical fan work? Thinking about a custom shroud with 2 Electrical fans with an external battery seperate from the engine battery. Anyone else tried this? Thanks in advance!

Tried one fan that was larger than 4600 and a single Battery. If you did not charge the battery every time out it would go dead quickly. It also was good as long as the radiator was clean which would last about 2 laps on the track. We went back to a regular mechanical fan. Less weight, won't fail and less work.

We used a Ford taurus fan, with a Taurus Rad ( 3.8L w/ 2 1inch rows) . Build good ducting with a shacker screen, from the nose to the front of RAD. And you may not need the fan on while racing. We ran a 13:1comp. 7,000rpm 358 on gas in a street stock, and the engine ran 160* with the fan on while racing, 200* with it off.
