NORTH ALABAMA SPEEDWAY – Tuscumbia, Alabama - 200 Laps or 2 hours (poor man’s Daytona 500)

$3000 to win 2nd - $1000, 3rd - $750, 4th - $600, 5th - $500 based on 40 entries…$500 best appearing car/ crew.

OFFICIAL RULES - USCS ENDURO RULES 2011 (revised 10/20/10)

Car and Body: 1A…Absolutely NO RACE CARS ALLOWED in this event. That would include any car running in any division at any race track in the past or present. This race is for strictly stock cars. 1…Any 1960 or newer 2-door or 4-door car is eligible. NO vans, NO pick-ups, NO SUVs, NO convertibles, NO four wheel drives, NO jeep type vehicles. Cars may be rear or front wheel drive. 4, 6 or 8 cylinder engines are ok. Minimum stock wheelbase allowed 105 inches for V-8, 88 inches for V-6 or 4-cylinder…NO TURBOS....2. Roll cage optional but, recommended. Gutting of factory interior panels only allowed for roll cage clearance. EXAMPLE: you may remove the inner door bracing to replace with door bars...3. No bracing in the bumper areas. However, bumpers should be chained or cabled as a safety item to help retain the bumper...4…All doors must be welded, chained, or bolted shut...5. Windshield must be removed. Debris screen or bars should be installed...6…Seat belts mandatory. Racing approved shoulder harness and lap belts are recommended. Racing seats allowed...7. All burnable type material, floor mats, head liners, rear seats, etc. may be removed. The rear seat shelf must be left in as a fire stop, and any openings to the trunk area must be enclosed...8. Complete bumper to bumper steel uni-body must be retained. No lightening permitted...9. The stock steel unaltered floor pan, firewalls, trunk and wheel wells must be retained. (Fuel cells, properly attached may be located in the trunk.)...10. Cars must retain their strictly stock appearance, no cutting chopping, channeling, or shortening allowed. Hoods must be kept in place at all times...11. Mesh window nets are permitted, but must be removable.

Suspension: 1…Suspension parts must remain absolutely stock for that make and model of car. No spacers, lumber or chains, etc. may be used to alter stock suspension of that car.

Weights: 1.No additional weight may be added to the car.

Wheels: 1…Stock steel wheels only.
Tires: 1. D.O.T legal tires must pass through a 9" hoop at the bulge. No Gumball tires, NO "DOT" stamped racing tires, NO truck tires, NO treated tires. No grooving or siping of tires!
Engine: 1. The engine must be strictly stock for that model and make and in its original mounts. NO aftermarket external oil coolers. 2. A/C and heat components may be removed. 3. Smog equipment may be removed. 4. Air cleaner to oil pan must be all factory equipment!
Transmission: 1.Stock transmission and rear end only. NO aftermarket external oil coolers. All transmission lines must be covered or run outside of driver area of car.
Radiator: 1. Only one radiator can be used. Radiator must remain in original position, no coolant or gas lines in the driver area of car.

Miscellaneous: 1. Fuel cells permitted and may be placed in the trunk area if securely fastened. Gas tanks must be original and placed in trunk. Must have two (2) magnetic steel holding straps. 2. Batteries may be relocated in a securely fastened covered plastic or rubber container. 3. All plastic grills must be removed or replaced with screen mesh. Headlights, tail lights, outer trim must be removed. Side and rear window glass must be removed. All side mirrors and rear view mirrors must be removed. No rear view mirrors allowed 4. Rupture of your gas tank and/or loss of gas require an immediate black flag. 5. No locked rears. 6. Approved helmet required for each driver and passenger. 7. If you go in the pit area during the event, you may not go back out on track (unless instructed to by track/race officials). Fire Extinquisher Mount Near Driver Required in every car. Two Fire Extinquishers are required in cars with passengers in rear seat(s) One Front & One rear.8. One driver and three passengers maximum (four occupants).

Starting Position Assignment: 1. Starting positions will be assigned via drawing for cars pre-entered for the event on the day of the race. The number one draw will start in the pole position. Number two draw in the middle of front row…number three draw outside of the front row, etc. Those who do not pre-enter (post entries) and enter on the day of the race, will be awarded a starting position behind the pre-entered cars on a first-come first-served basis on the day of the event. There is NO practice for this event. THIS IS AN ENDURO RACE

Participants must be 16 years or older and have parental consent/minor waiver release on file and a valid driver’s license in order to race in this event. Or participants must be 18 years and older.

Entry Fee of $100.00 may be paid in advance as a pre-entry (includes the bonus of a driver pit pass and the opportunity to draw for starting position). Pre-entries must be received by midnight on December 20, 2010 at midnight. All others will be considered post entries after that date. Entries should be mailed to USCS at 175 Antebellum Way, Fayetteville, GA 30215. Or pre-entries may be delivered to Jeff Greer, North Alabama Speedway track promoter on/or before midnight on December 20, 2010.

**NOTE: NO Radios or Push-To-Talk devices may be used to talk to driver.
**FM RADIO: All Car must have a working FM Radio to receive instructions over during the race.
**FIRE EXTINQUISHER: All cars must have a fire extinquisher for the driver and front seat(s). If there are passengers in the back seat(s) of the car there must be a fire extinguisher in the rear seat area also.

All rules are determined by the Promoters.
