PPMS 1st Draft 2011 Schedule

Miley Motor Sports has announced the first draft of the 2011 PPMS schedule. The 2011 schedule will again feature Saturday night Action Events with special events for UFo/ULMS Super Late Models, BRP Big Block Modifieds, 410 Outlaw Sprints, FASTRAK Pro-Lates, UEMS E-mods, Cadets, Hobby and Young Gun classes and other exciting promotions.

The season will kick off with open practice on Saturday, March 27 with a rain date of Sunday, March 28. On the following Saturday, April 2 the Monster Half Mile will open with an earthquake of speed as the "2011 Blastoff" will feature the 410 Outlaw Sprints and a UEMS E-mod championship in addition to the Super Late Models and all regular divisions. The next two saturdays will be the rain dates for the "2011 Blastoff."

The UFo and ULMS Super Late Models will clash 4 times in 2011. The "PENNational" on Saturday, May 14 and the "F-2 Shockwave" on Saturday, July 23 will utilize the thrilling twin 28 feature format paying a total of $4,000 to the winners. The "Red Miley Rumble" which produced a whopping field of 45 UFo/ULMS Super Late Models in 2010 is scheduled for Saturday, August 28. The UFo/ULMS Super Late Models will compete in the "Tri-Star Pittsburgher" in September.

The 410 Outlaw Sprints will make 2 additional appearances at PPMS in 2010. The "Flight of the Phoenix," tentatively scheduled for Saturday, June 18 and the "Tri Star Pittsburgher" will showcase the winged warriors. The wide, fast half mile at PPMS produces some of the highest speeds ever for the 410 Outlaw Sprints.

The BRP Big Block Modifieds will return in action twice in 2011. "Modisaurus X-3" on Saturday, May 28 will be the 1st stop of the BRP tour, with the Big Block Mods also taking part in the "Tri Star Pittsburgher."

Special events are on schedule for virtuallly every weekend with championship races scheduled for the FASTRAK Pro-Lates, E-mods, Cadets, Hobby and Young Guns. The Wacky Wheels Figure-8's will make 4 appearances on the "mini-track" with 1 of those events being a "triple-8" race with two crossroads!

PPMS will turn back the clock twice in 2011 with two "Blast Back to the 70's" nights featuring $7 general grandstand admission on April 30 and August 27. WV and OH residents will be admitted free on Saturday, May 21. Several events feature kid's promotions such as bike races and free admission. The very popular Driver Autograph Night is scheduled for Saturday, July 2.

The "Tri-Star" Pittsburgher" will return in 2011 featuring the new hit format. The UFo/ULMS Super Late Models, BRP Big Block Modifieds and 410 Outlaw Sprints will headline the triple-thrill program with championship events for all 3 of those top classes. This new format in 2010 produced the highest fan attendance for the event since 2003. The FASTRAK Pro-Lates, UEMS E-mods, Cadets, Hobby and Young Guns will also be competing in championship events at the "Tri-Star Pittsburgher."
