Food dispersed to local Chillicothe Area Food Pantry

CHILLICOTHE, OHIO- Jeff and Vicki Schrader have once again proven themselves good neighbors. The owners of the Alma-based K-C Raceway have again joined hands with the local food pantry for “Food Drive Night” where fans can take advantage of a discounted admission for a fun night of stock car racing.
Fans can get in for just $5 with five cans of food. General admission without food is $10 for adults. On the racing card is a slate of Hobby Stocks, Rear Wheel Drive Four Cylinders under Moler/Brushcreek Rules, and an Enduro.
Anyone can participate in the enduro, but time is running out on getting a car together. Anyone wishing to participate must field a stock production type car under the rules posted below.
K-C hosts Food Drive Night next Saturday, November 6th. All fans with five cans of food will be admitted for just $5 in a “let’s pack this place” promotion. On the racing card will be Hobby Stocks, Four Cylinders under Moler/Brushcreek Rules and an Enduro. Locals wishing to put together a car for this week’s endure can check out the Brushcreek endure rules at http://www.brushcreekmotorsports.com/id10.html or read the rules below. Enduro cars have a $25 registration fee.
All drivers and those in the pits must have a pit pass. Pit Passes are $25. For more information please call 740-663-4141 or visit the K-C website. Drivers meeting begins at 3:30 p.m. Gates open at 1:30. Racing begins with warm-ups at 4 and racing at 5 p.m.
K-C Raceway is located 12 miles South of Chillicothe, Ohio off SR 23, two miles out Blain Highway between Chillicothe, Ohio and Waverly, Ohio at Alma.


ENDURO RULES
1. Completely stock car. $25 Registration Fee.
2. All glass, trim and plastic must be removed
3. If roll cage, 4 points or more.
4. Seatbelts and shoulder belts required.
5. Must have fire extinguisher located in easy accessible position.
6. Doors must be chained, bolted or welded shut.
7. Driver windshield protection must be bars or screen.
8. No smaller than mid-sized cars are allowed.
9. Nobody under 16 years of age. 16 years old must have parent permission.
10. No derby cars, must have straight body.
11. No snow tire or mud tread. DOT 60 or 70 SERIES TIRES ONLY.
12. Must have 18" number and be able to see plainly.
13. No rub rails.
14.Fuel tanks must be in original position.
15. Tire changing and radios OK
16. No reinforced bumpers allowed.
17.NO LOCKED REAR ENDS!
18. All drivers must bring their own scorer.



MT. ALTO, WV-The American Motor Racing Association (AMRA) has announced plans for its upcoming 2010 banquet at Cedar Lakes Conference Center near Ripley, WV on Saturday, November 13. The 17th annual banquet will be for the MALTA Doors and Windows Modified Division’s National Points, Road Warrior Challenge, and the AMRA Late Model Division, plus modified Rookie of the Year honors.
Individual Track Champions from the AMRA series in those divisions will also be recognized. Dress for the event is semi-formal with attendees, especially Owners/Drivers/Crew Members, requested to wear a sports coat and tie as local and national media will be on hand to cover this event. Photo coverage will be included.
