    Default Linear vs digressive shocks

Looking for opinion on linear vs digressive shocks. Also experiences on running either on various types of suspensions, and various track conditions.

Linear is best suited for rough tracks.
Digressive is best suited for slick.
Progressive is best suited for heavy/hooked up.

As far as suspension systems go, 4 link is progressive, SwingArm is linear, Z-link is somewhere in between, being progressive but less so than 4-Link. These are general terms, but each can be tuned to fit different situations.
