    Default newer camaro vs older camaro

    the track we race at are allowing them next yr and wanting to try something diff any info would be greatly appreciated.

    If your talking about 3rd gen strut cars.. It depends on what your allowed to do. Where I race your allowed to run a complete tube chassis with a front clip. 3rd gen camaros really don't have a front clip so all guys are using is the cross member this saves about 175 pounds on the front end compared to a conventional clip car. Plus the newer camaro is a 3 link vs. leaf springs.

    the way they state it in the rules no full tube frames.i guess the big thing hear the f bodies are real soft up front trying to get ideas of just i guess how to stiffen them up.
