ACTION AND CELEBRATION THIS HOLIDAY WEEKEND IN ASA RACING

DAYTONA BEACH, FL (Friday, November 26, 2010) - The American Speed Association hopes that everyone is having a safe and happy Thanksgiving weekend. If you are tired from shopping and eating, three ASA Member Tracks have some racing action this Saturday night while one celebrates their 2010 season.

Here is a look at what is happening...

DESOTO SUPER SPEEDWAY
(Bradenton, FL)

A great night of racing is on tap this Saturday night with the School Bus Figure 8’s highlighting the night’s activities. Plus, the Pure Stocks, Bombers, Street Stocks, Flyin 4’s, Magic 4’s and Trophy Dash Cars will be in action. Gates open at 5 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m.

EAST BAY RACEWAY PARK
(Tampa, FL)

ASA sanctioned racing returns to East Bay Raceway Park on Saturday, November 27, 2010. The Top Gun Sprints return, along with the Florida Mini Sprints, Q Auto & Injury Attorney Limited Late Models, Precision Kia Street Stocks and motorstats.com 4 Cylinder Bombers.

HAVASU 95 SPEEDWAY
(Lake Havasu City, AZ)

The Havasu 95 Speedway will once again be presenting their annual Thanksgiving weekend special race this Saturday, November 27th. Sanctioned by ASA Racing, the quarter mile paved oval is located within the Sara Park complex in Lake Havasu City-Arizona. Local race fans need to note that this special event is a day race that gets underway at 1 pm.On the race schedule for this Saturday will be action from the Gene Price Motorsports Late Model River Series, the ASA Street Stocks, the SME Bandoleros and the Factory Stocks.

LONESOME PINE RACEWAY
(Coeburn, VA)

LPR will celebrate it’s 2010 season this Saturday night with their Championship Banquet at The Inn. Social hour begins at 6:00 p.m. with dinner at 7:00 p.m. Awards ceremony at 8:00 p.m. 2010 Champions to be honored include: Blake Jones, Late Models; Brad Ball, Mod 4; Brad Housewright, Charger: Roger Neece, Street Stock; and James “Moonshine” Mills, Pure 4.
