    I have come across an old single plane Alum. intake, Somebody notched a V out above the Heat riser ports on the intake I was wondering why would you want to notch that out?

    Like the blacked out part in this pic.

    That is for clearance for a fitting to take water out from between the two center ex valves. Bill

    What kind of heads would you be running on a SBC to pull water from in between the exhuast vlaves on the top side of the head.
