how do you keep it from leaking some gear oil out of the axel tubes on a stock 9 inch.
it also has new seals in it and still leaks some.
do you have inner axle tube seals, they go in the axle tube closest to the gear, keeps fluid from getting into the axle tube
i bet it dont. so i guess you have to take the pumpkin out to put those in ? do you know where you can get them ? autozone or race shop?
race shop or online , don't waste your money on the cheap ones will slide to end of the tube.
I believe the inner seals only work on a floater rear, I could be wrong. is your rear end leaking from both sides or just one?
if you stop grease from gettin in the tubes wont the outter axle barring go dry,get hot, lock up,make bad day for ya??? do you have a vent on your rearend?? is it stopped up with dirt an grimm??
mostly the rr. it has a small vent on it maybe its not big enough. for sure dont need any bad days lol thanks for your advice mine is a non floater im not sure if you can run them on them or not?
I had inner seals with my stock axles on a 9 inch.
thank you guys
