    Default Wheel Spacers

Would running wheel spacers on the rear help you get through the corner with more grip? Or would they help u at all and would u just use one on the right rear?

    thanks

You don't indicate the type of race car you're referencing. Mini-Stock(RWD/FWD?), Super Late Model, Modified...... etc. Irregardless, the (2) most important checks/adjustments you can make to the race car for handling. With the ride-heights & cross-weight closely set to your desires, string/laser the rear-end and make certain it's 'square' in the car. Then, rules permitting, adjust the lateral position of the rear-end to make the RR tire contact patch very closely 'follow' the RF tire contact patch. And that lateral position can be adjusted with spacers @ the RR. Few realize that simple adjustment can improve handling to a great degree. A 3rd check to make? Check the TOE of the REAR tires. The toe should be very close to ZERO. If it's not, you may have a bent rear rim or axle tube. And check the 'runout' of the front tires/rims also. Making sure you have no problem in that area. -Dave-
