    Default 602 Flywheel -Clutch

    Purchased a new 602 and looking for advice on the best flywheel ,clutch set-up to run for maximum performance at a decent price.

    Late models do not use an external clutch. What are you putting it into? A cars weight and power output have a great affect on what clutch is going to work best.

    IMO...your best bet is to use a Bert/Brinn style transmission with an internal clutch. These trannys are solid and the maintenance is minimal if you take care of them.
    Then with a crate motor you need an externally balanced flywheel like the Bert 311NCEXT. Bolt the tranny to a Bert/Brinn style bellhousing and use a reverse mount starter.
    The overall package isn't the cheapest way to go but you get what you pay for. Now is the time of year to find plenty of this stuff used at a good price.
