    Default Flywheel

I know this has been on here before, but I am asking because I can't find it anywhere. What year Escort (if that is the correct Model) flywheel will fit the 2.3 motor? Is this a 16.5 pound flywheel? I can figure out the starter and throw out bearing, just not sure what model to get.I have been running a goldstar setup, but they have changed the rules to a stock, no cut flywheel. Thanks for the help, Tommy

You will need the longer TOB that speedway sells IF using the T5 tranny, if you have the 4 spd, get a timken 614037 TOB. Otherwise the clutch wont disengage, the center of the escort flywheel is thinner than the OEM stang one. Get shorter flywheel bolts also! I use a T5, OEM mustang starter had no prob. w/ escort flywheel.
