Jeep Van Wormer Wins Australian Debut Today at Perth Motorplex!

(KWINANA BEACH, AUSTRALIA) Jeep Van Wormer enjoyed a tremendous debut in his trip "Down Under," as he claimed a victory today, December 18, in the Sedan Muster at the Perth Motorplex in Kwinana Beach, Western Australia! Driving one of his old MasterSbilt racecars, Jeep started seventh in his first heat race and worked his way past five competitors en route to a solid second place preliminary finish. After starting fourth in his second heat race, Jeep vaulted to the front of the field to score the prelim triumph.

By virtue of those strong efforts, the Pinconning, Michigan native rolled off from the outside of the front row in the 20-lap feature event. Jeep kept all of the great Aussie drivers behind him throughout the A-Main and survived a couple of caution flags on his way to the flag-to-flag victory.
