Championship Celebration for Ponderosa and Lake Cumberland Speedways Set for January 15

Junction City, KY/Burnside, KY- December 28, 2010- Track promoter Brandon Hardgrove would like to invite all racers, race teams, and race fans to the 2010 track awards banquet for both Ponderosa Speedway and Lake Cumberland Speedway on Saturday January 15, 2011.

Hardgrove has been the promoter at Lake Cumberland Speedway and will now take over the promotional reigns at Ponderosa Speedway for the 2011 racing season and will honor the top ten point netters in all divisions from both tracks on Saturday January 15 at The Center for Rural Development, located just off of Hwy. 27 in Somerset, KY. Activities will get underway at 6:00 p.m. for the championship celebration on Saturday January 15.

The evening’s activities will include a meal, followed by the honoring of the top ten drivers from all divisions at both tracks, including numerous giveaways to all racers that are in attendance. Also, track promoter Brandon Hardgrove will unveil the 2011 race schedules for both Ponderosa Speedway and Lake Cumberland Speedway, along with information concerning the points series that will take place between the two tracks that will include point fund and driver incentive information.

Also of note, the STARS Midwest Dirt Racing League and STARS Volunteer Racing Series will release their 2011 racing schedule at this huge celebration that will honor the best of 2010 at both Ponderosa Speedway and Lake Cumberland Speedway.

Also on hand at the celebration will be the new KILLER CHASSIS desigedby David Webb they have steeped up to sponsor the new series in 2011 at the twotracks that will be released at banquent with giving a new chassis to one lucky driver inthe top ten points..Also Revel Motorsports is giving a new chassis at the 2011 banquent for a lucky driver also..
