we use the turbo coupe rotors on the 7.5" rearend with a gm metric caliper and modifed the bracket you can buy to weld on a 9" to shorten it up to fit the 13" wheels

now my question to you is where did you get 4x4.5 axels for the 9" i cant seem to find them

A poor mans way to do it is take the axles you have and knock out the studs. Weld up the holes. Put the axle in a lathe and true it up because the flange will distort abit from the welding. While it is in the lathe, index the flange for whatever bolt pattern you like. Drill holes. Install some good quality studs and that's it. It is easy to do and cheap. Plenty good for a ministock. I have done it lots for people over the years with no problems. No need for aftermarket axles.

Wrencherer. The 8" axles only fit the 9" diffs with 28 splines. Most 9" diffs are 32 spline. PilotRacer. Why do you need slotted rotors on a Mustang ministock? If you need big brakes on a ministock then you aint driving properly. Use momentum and you don't need a bunch of brakes.

You are correct, but all you have to do is change the spool to get what axle spline you need wheather it be a full spool or a mini-spool.

People are trying to help you. Can't you figure that out? You don't need big brakes or drilled, slotted rotors on a ministock. You use momentum on low powered cars like ministocks. If you need a bunch of brakes you are doing something wrong. If that hurts your feelings then you are in the wrong sport. Get over it.

I have raced alot of different vehicles in my lifetime and won many races. I haven't raced a ministock in quite some time but they haven't changed much in 25+ years. I was never hard on brakes. Some guys are. Ministocks have no power so if you use momentum you don't use your brakes nearly as much. The fact that Car62 uses a ton of brakes tells me if he changed his driving style he could go faster and save money. I have coached alot of kids starting out in ministocks and the ones that drove go-karts understood the momentum idea and were better on equipment and went faster. Just because Car62 is hard on brakes doesn't mean he knows how to drive.

now we dont need a fight guys lol, some peopel my want to try something diffrent hell i would want the best brakes i could get to it dont mean your going to be hard on them but they sure could come in handy when needed, hell i never though id need a head/neck restraint got one and the first race with it got turned in the wall for a head on hit wide open in the fastest part of the track and boy i tell you what i never felt so good after a hard hit in my life if i had better brakes i may not of hit the wall.

and tank you guys for the info on the axels most guys would ask why would you want the heavy 9" well its simpel more gear options.

i like the thinking of the bigger brakes means better saftey in my eyes .

and mini stocks have change alot over the years the word stock is outdated when it comes to thes things the only thing stock on my car is the rack and the block

    Cool Steve Shaw JR

Steve , you are using a STOCK rack ?
OMG , there's no way you are driving that car correctly !!!
You can't possible be going as fast as you could be going if
you were to install one of those high dollar SWEET racks
    from a Late Model.
They do so many things that the STOCK rack can't.
Like ummmmm, turn left, no wait, that's not it.
Well I guess it's OK to use the Stock one this year
but........ let's talk about that BLOCK!!!
