were is the best placw to mount battery and why

i have always put mine in the trunk, never thought why, but for wheight over the axel and just peice of mind, never know that thing could blow up on ya

i put mine in the center of the car on the right side, mostly to bring right side weight up, driver is 300#, all my other cars it was over the axle, pretty much standard to put it in the back to help with rear precentage

I have always put the battery behind the drivers seat, just in front of the rearend.
