Masters rear shock option Q

On our 09 Smackdown we have the option to move both springs in the rear left to right one mount. Viewed from the back both are to the right mounts for starters, but the setup book i got says move both left for dry. Anyone tried this and what were the results?

We had a 09 ran them out works good on real slick tracks.
