With one of those championships, that's almost $300,000 to win. Not bad for a year of modified racing. Hughes, Phillips, Gustin, maybe Sanders, maybe Kelly, (who else?) etc., are all capable of winning 1/3 of these, you reckon?
If you know of other 'Big Ones' for Open Wheel Modifieds that use AR KK704 tires and/or Hoosier G60s and USMTS/USRA type rules, let me know and we'll add them. Post here or email hooks@isp.com

Reason: Adding winners and schedule updates!

USA Raceway announced their 2011 schedule yesterday and moved the Wes Hurst up to October 28-30 between Humboldt and Las Cruces.
Hey, that's likely-to-be a minimum of $40,000 to win over 3 weekends at a great time of year too. I bet this helps the car count at both Las Cruces and Tucson and I think the inaugural show at Humboldt is going to be huge too!!!

The average high temp on the dates of the first big weekend in Baytown, Texas just outside of Houston is 66 with a low of 46. 7 weeks later in Minnesota for the WMDTC, the average high is 50 and the average low is 30 with a record low of 5 in 1936 on April 6th and 8 in 1997 on April 9th BUT...
The record high temps were in 1991 when for three straight days, the temps hit the MID-to-UPPER EIGHTIES!!! That'll work!!! If not, there's always July....
-
SNMS promoter Royal Jones has upped the purse in Las Cruces this weekend to $24,000 to win guaranteed with possible $30,000 for a sweep!!!
-
That Terry Phillips is something else ain't he?! Reckon he'll win the World at Deer Creek too? He won 2 out of 3 up there at the Jamboree last September. Of course Jason Hughes won the big one that weekend. We'll soon see......
