Default Spindle and Axle Tube Nuts

Does anyone know what OEM application the spindle nuts with self locking ring are off of? Not the double nuts but the self locking type with the ring and set screws. I figured they had to be off some sort of truck with a full floating rear axle. Maybe an old Ford or something.

I may be wrong but I think the snout is copied from 3/4 ton chevy rear and takes those bearing and seal. The old double nuts with a washer that folded over to lock the 2 nuts together was taken from the truck axle. The new deal with the 2 allen screws that lock the nut down is a custom made race part I am about sure.

I was told that the wide-5 hub/axle/snout design came from 1950s full ton Ford trucks.
