when you cut the stock upper a-arm mount off and replace them with the flat plates do you have to get longer a-arms? I also have weight jack bolts. Is the steel bushing for the bottoms the best bushings? Thanks.

only if the rules will allow you to run somthing other than stock dimentions.alot of cars are turning the upper mount to the same axis as the lower control arm this, in my mind ,just keeps the caster the same through the travel. no caster gain.and for the lower bushings the thought is you dont want the lower to move hindering the caster setting or camber. I myself use the poly bushings thinking it will be more forgiving in a crash taking a hit better ,more forgiving and not binding the frame or control arm

We use the stock mounts and use the metric tubular uppers. Not sure what your rules are but a lot of tracks don't let you mess the mounting points. I would leave it stock and cut the a-arm to get what you are looking for with caster/camber. Not sure about the bushings.
