Fender Top Width?

How wide are you guys making your front fender tops?

All the Warrior Cars we do have 16" fender tops

I alway make them 18'' wide with fender supports on the inside running from the front body brace back to the firewall.I've looked at the plastic one;s but they just don't quit look right.

I make mine 15 inches and overlap the hood 2 inches. I also us fender bracing on the insides and make the outer fenders long enough to support at the bend of the fender tops. really helps stiffen them up.

i make mine about 13.5 inches,then put braces under the hood to stiffen the hood,then the fenders are narrow enough that you can stand up inside the fender without taking it off if you have to work on something quick.
